Going To The Chapel

So, last night was the bachelor party of my good friend Ryan. I'm really excited for him that he's getting married but it means I ain't getting any sleep. We had a good guys night out. I won't give any juicy detail that perhaps some of you are looking for but we had a good time. It was just nice to hang out with the guys. It's kind of an odd sensation to see so many people getting married. Like, everyone is! I'm cool with it and all but it's just a strange feeling.

I get to be one of Ryan's groomsmen and I'm the go to guy for the wedding extravaganza for all the coordinating between the two on thier special day before they can see each other. It'll be fun. I'm hoping it will go by somewhat quickly though, because I'm soooooo tired. Not getting any sleep because of dog, work on apt, social time, and bachelor celebrations tagged to the wedding. I'm ready to get some sleep. But oh wait....I lead worship Sunday morning. Dang. Still don't relax.

All I have to say about that is....Thank goodness it's a three day weekend with a labor day!!!

Gray Skies

The last few days have been tough ones. I'm tired, I'm anxious, and stuff keeps on happening.

First of all, my Great-Uncle Jr. passed away this past weekend. Then, I wasn't sure how to respond being in a new job and what not so I didn't ask for the day off so I could go to his funeral. And while it's not a huge deal it is still getting under my skin because I feel I did the wrong thing and I want to be there for the rest of my family.

Then, I had a date on Sunday night hoping this would brighten things up. No such luck. It was a good date and all but it just doesn't blow me away. Sweet and fun girl but it just doesn't have that wow factor I'm looking for. So, that didn't help things.

Then, to top it all off I know that I have to give up Mitchell. Despite how much I love him, and would like to keep him, he is gonna have to go because I just don't have an adequate amount of time to really take care of him. It is really sad to me because I JUST got him to be my own. However, it isn't right for him and I would rather him be in a better home and happy than with me and lonely all stinkin day. I dunno for sure yet, but that is what is likely to be happening in the next week or so.

Anywho...things just aren't going so great right now. I hope things brighten up a bit in the next few days...or hours (that would be nice). Here's hoping blue skies are coming my way.

Oh, Mitchell. You're Such a Pimp

Well, because I was told to do so, I'm going to update my blog. Haha. Even though it's probably time for one anyways.

I'm not much for one on being up to date with the world so if these are unintriguing just let me know.

So...Tuesday Night my dog Mitchell, who had been staying at my mom's, finally came to my new Apt! It was exciting but then ended in disaster. The little guy was so afraid that he kept me extremely busy with his little pee spasms and territory markings. It was a fun night indeed. But then decided he couldn't sleep, and that I shouldn't either, so he kept me up ALL night just about. However, since then, things have been settling down. He's finally adjusted and is back to being potty trained using his pads again. Which is good for him!

Recently I was talking to a friend of mine and she just loved him to death. Now, because of her I might have a place for him to stay during the day and have another dog for him to play with so he's not alone for many hours a day. That will be good. I feel like such a parent now, btw. Here's a few pictures for you so you can see him!

As for date status updates, that's a whole other story in itself. I'm now going to dinner on Sunday night, Being pushed to ask out the new female RD at our school, Had great conversation with another beautiful young lady, And then, there is this other girl who things are kinda growin in interest on both sides it seems. I know many of you think, "Wow, he's either a pimp and a jerk or just a plain jerk." Truth of the matter is...I haven't been on that many dates in the last two years, and now in one or two weeks? It's like crazy right now. But, I think it's nice to be able to get to know people at least. Not officially dating anyone, nor pursuing them. Just having a good time with some lovely young ladies. Soon, though, things will have to be settled. It can only be this way for so long. But that is the latest on me. I might ask for an opinion on what y'all think of the ladies in the next post if I give y'all some options.

Who knows...We'll see. Lata!

Starbucks Magic

So, last night I went on my first date with this girl I met. Funny enough, I met her on Eharmony. This made last night a try out of sorts to see what it is like to meet someone for the first time in person after meeting online.

We met at Starbucks and it was actually rather nice. We had smooth conversation that was very flowing over a nice cup of joe. Which, I barely touched mine just because I was rather into the conversation. I thought it was a nice time. We are planning on seeing eachother again as well. Which is another sign that it went well for her too. And...SHE texted ME first. Quite the shocker but I don't think I mind too much. But, I'm gonna wait before approaching the next date. Maybe after this horrendously (sp?) busy weekend. Who knows...

Anyways... that was my Starbucks Magic. Overall, a really good date.

Moving in and Job Coming Along

So. The job is going great! It's kinda coming along slowly but that is to be expected. But here is a picture of my team! They all rock!

As for moving in...that...was...interesting. Yet, it was still very awesome!

I moved down to the Land O' Sugar this past weekend which just happened to be the same weekend with all the rain. haha. So it made things interesting. But, we were determined to get moved in so we did it anyways. Unfortunately I don't have any photos left but as soon as I have those I'm gonna post them up. It's lookin good. I'm gonna be putting up a post about our AWESOME sound and video set up we got hooked up now. The only thing we are missing is putting a big flat screen there instead of a bulkier T.V. but we are gonna wait til black friday (day after thanksgiving for shopping super cheap... for those who don't know about it).

Starting Up

Well...I had some friends of mine Chelsea and Ashley that do this blogging thing and I didn't think it was so much of a bad idea. So I'm gonna give this a try for a while. So consider this a shout out to my peeps and co-workers Chelsea and Ashley!!!

We'll see how this goes. This is my first time blogging.

Oooh. And I just got done re-organizing and arranging my new office at my first job. It looks pretty good. Now...I need to decorate. Plain white walls with nothing on them is very boring to the eye. I think after I move into my new apt this weekend I'll be able to figure out what I can bring up to the office to decorate a little bit.

So..here we go! Gettin' started on livin' in the real world (Post College Life)!
